Belief

The piece of land bearing this tree stretches a bit into the pond behind it. That would have been definitely chopped off  if the tree was not painted yellow with turmeric and saffron. Now that its a goddess tree, no one dares to cut it.! Thanks to human belief.

My Friend

The last friend i made at college

This image is captured just few days before i left my college. It was mid summer noon when i found this pigeon trying hard to take a sip of water. I took some water in my palm and gently bent towards it. Surprise..* this pigeon slowly came near me, drank water from my hand and flew away.!

It was really a wonderful experience in my life.

This gives a 3rd dimension 'Depth' to the image. Here i captured the same scene 4 times with slight variation in camera angle. All the 4 images are displayed in a cycle to give 3D effect. Its nothing new, the same technique is used by our two eyes to find depth. Try walking on road with one eye closed.!

At first i too wondered, why he dragged such a big mass of wood on to sand.! Later he explained me that in the night when they anchor their boats, the tide in sea will be high. So, they actually leave the boats floating on water. But, as the night passes, the moon goes down and so the tide,.. lowering the river water level. So, the boats are landed on sand.

Police and passport

My first visit to police station.

This picture i captured has a thoughtful  experience to tell. To get passport i need to clear police verification at my locality.,but the police called me and  asked to meet him in station. when i went, he told me to wait in a chair from which i captured this image. In another room he is busy negotiating with some-other student about the bribe amount for passport clearance. I wondered watching this elegant logo of AP police.., am in a queue to bribe in POLICE station....!

Ghost tree

  

Ghost tree -- behind my house

Coconut received the name from sailors of Vasco da Gama in India. The brown and hairy surface of coconuts reminded them of a ghost called Coco, a portugal mythical monster.! Think once, it'll b interesting to find that not a single part of coconut tree will go waste. Leaf to root, all are usefull in many ways.

Dont be afraid, its a mythical ghost anyway.

Aloe vera flower

Aloe vera -- Gives beauty not only to girls.., also to my backyard.

"In every house where a teen girl lives" Aloe vera is a common plant found in our homes now-a-days. But not more people would have seen it bloom a flower..! because it rarely does. Not for cosmetics alone, it is also used in health drinks, desserts, medicines to improve blood glucose levels and also as antibacterial & anti-fungal aid.

Grow one(more) and be patient to see your aloe vera bloom.

adieu SUN.. today evening from our terrace.

"Nature is the best painter" Who can disagree with that anyway.! well, the colour magic in evening sky is all done by dust and water particles in atmosphere. In the evening, sun rays must skim along the surface of the planet rather than shine straight down on us. As a result they travel much farther through the atmosphere loosing its high frequency components blue and green. So, the remaining red reaches us as seen.
